Andrew Scullion won a Poster prize in the Physical Sciences Category at the recent Microscopy and Microanalysis Meeting held in Indianapolis (August 2013) for his poster titled: "Size Distribution, Imaging and Growth Mechanisms of Self-Assembled InAs Quantum Wires on Vicinal Substrates". Andrew works in the group of Prof. Botton in MSE on the development of microscopy methods, aberration-corrected STEM and modeling methods to analyse the growth of semiconducting nanostructures. He is jointly supervised with Prof. David Thompson in the Department of Engineering Physics.
